Muy bien! And to the second answerer, it's correct. Especially in Chile, the "s'" are dropped from the conversations. You'll hear people saying "gracia", and it's considered correct.

To whom answered a correction, let me please tell him/her that in fact that question in Spanish is perfect...
It means "how are you?" in the formal sense, being polite...
Just remember Spanish has 3 different ways to address the second person in singular; Usted (formal), Tú (informal) and Vos (also informal and mostly used in Argentina for example).
(Cómo está?) is perfectly formulated for the formal you (Usted)...
