I have tried to shop there 2 times already but its too hard. Each time I go the women who are in there shopping give me death stares and bad looks. I am just trying to pick out something nice for my girlfriend(I'm 21) and I hate the attitudes the women who shop there display towards me. I'll start browsing for something for my girlfriend and I hear scoffs and such from behind. I then lose my confidence and will to be in there and just leave without buying anything. I am not a pervert, I am just trying to do something nice. Anyone(guys or girls) got any tips for me? Is it really that abnormal for guys to shop there?

I was going through a bra rack looking for my girlfriend's size and some lady behind me who was about 35 said "do you mind" in a rude voice.

Some lady who was with her daughters left the store in protest since I was there. They didn't make a scene but I heard her say to her daughters "I can't be in here when he is here, we'll come back later".

It makes me feel guilty.

Ask one of her or your female friends to help you.

I think thats really sweet that you're willing to be comfortable with and explore the feminine side of the world, esp. for your girlfriend. It shows that you are open-minded to looking at things and needs of hers and perhaps the women that shop there just think you're weird/different, or maybe they're just uncomfortable (after all it is a lingerie store). I know that I always was afraid that some boy/man I knew from school would come by when I was shopping for bras/underwear. I'm sure you mean well, but for added support maybe you can bring along a female friend of yours (preferably one that doesn't know your girlfriend so that there won't be a misunderstanding) next time you go there. Just ignore those women's looks, I know its hard, but they may just be jealous of your courage! She might be able to help. Or you can just buy her some non-underwear item that the store sells, I've been there and I've seen some items apart from lingerie and underwear. Or a gift card. Another option would be to cross-dress, put on a high-pitched feminine voice, and go in there. No one will know the difference unless you go to the changing rooms!
Good luck! It hurts to be nice sometimes (I've been there too), but we become all the more stronger for it.

There is a couple things that you could do. First of all you could always go on Victoria Secret's Website. You can easily find something you like on the website. Or, if you have a close friend that's a girl, you could ask her to come with you, so it doesn't seem as weird. Another option is asking an employee who works there to help you. (people may be more acceptable). Either way give it a try! Good Luck!

Good for you for trying to find something nice for your girlfriend. Any woman that is in there that has a problem with it is most likely insane...my advice to you is ask someone who works there....

Be prepared though, know what it is you're looking for, something sexy, something cute, something comfortable... and know her size. Go to victoriassecret.com and find what you're looking for before you even go to the store!! You could order from there if it will make you more comfortable, they'll ship it right to you. And if you can't summon the courage to shop the racks, she'll love a gift certificate with the promise that you'll go to help her pick something out.

Good Luck.

To solve your problem either you just go in and buy her a gift card or you can go to www.victoriassecret.com and shop from the privacy of your own home and if you know her size and what she likes it should not be a big deal. Otherwise if you want something really sexy for her & you then just go to Priscillas or some other sex shop they don't mind when men are in those places.

definite, you will be advantageous. while i'm determining to purchase I see adult men in there paying for stuff for their important others each and every of the time. i think of that's somewhat candy and considerate. that's humorous reason they seem scared to %. up the panties and undies each and every so often. there are lots of effectual sales buddies that can assist you you to %. out something great for her. no person will seem at you loopy or something considering the fact which you're in there. that's quite elementary. wish this helps!

I would suggest that you ORDER a Victoria's Secret bra online or from the catalogue for your girlfriend. It's actually probably easier that way. The only reason I even go to the store is try on a style...but since you can't do that and have to guess about the size anyway...lol...I would order it. I know you have good intentions, but, I, personally do not like bra shopping when there are a lot of men in the store...and I'm not the only one...it's kind of embarassing!!!

Ok, the first thing that I would do is as a lady that works there and tell her that you are shopping for your girlfriend. Then they will understand that you aren't a pervert!

I Love That Store!

Just get her a gift card. If you don't like that, then shop on-line. They have a great web-site. You can also call their customer service to place an order over the phone.

No, I say guys there all the time. Find out what size she takes in bra and panties [ Victoria's Secret brand if possible ]. Don't buy her thongs if she doesn't already have them - she probably doesn;t buy what she doesn't like.
Go up to a saleswoman and say "I'm looking for a bra/panties/nightgown for my girl." They usually love helping to pick out other girls' clothes!
[ My husband bought me a beautiful nightgown, with no sizes, by holding up his hands like he was measuring a fish! ]

I thought i was the only guy...i was 12 with my sisters carring their bags & grown women looked at me like i was the devil.
Shucks just go & get what you went to do they arent your girl & not paying for the item so look nasty back at them or ask hi how you doing or you work here. wave everytime. when you hear the scuffs turn around & wave with a smile & ask their opinion. I went into the women's shoe section & ignored women there. I'm gonna go back to flirt now that i'm free

Husbands & boyfriends shop there too & have money.
