Yeah, when i was first left to my own devices after 'the split' i went to make a pizza for the kids, but as i shut the oven door it half came off in my hands!!! I spent the next 2-3 hours tryin to fix it afta orderin a take-away and forgot about the pizza i had put in!!! For the next 3 weeks i lived on things cooked on the gas rings, in the microwave or by someone else. It was only when i got a new oven i found that pizza!!! Oh My God it was ready to walk out by itself!!!!! Strangely enough there was no smell tho, hence the reason i didn't spot it earlier lol

I put one of those chicken burritos in my microwave to heat up, and my mom came over. I was pregnant with my daughter and she was coming to take me to my doctor's appointment. I ended up having to go straight from the docs office to the hospital to check in. I had an emergency c-section and I developed an upper respiratory infection. I was in the hospital for 4 days. I was in such pain and couldn't really do much so I stayed with my parents for 8 weeks. When I got back home, that chicken burrito was still in my microwave. Yummy huh?

This is so gross. Years ago I went grocery shopping. After about 3-4 days I was bitching at my husband to get his stinky *** shoes out of my car. Come to find out that a package of hamburger had slid out of one of the bags and under the seats. Needless to say the smell was awful! I felt bad for blaming my husband (I swear his feet don't smell like that but the job he had at the time made his shoes wet and he'd always leave them in the car) I always double check the car and bags now.

I once bought some special mushrooms from waitrose which they advised keeping in a paper bag and storing in a cupboard to maintin the flavour and not the fridge. I put them under the sink in the kitchen and forgot about them completely and then when I did find them again it was a case of "oh what's in this bag lets stick me hand in and see!".
Let's just say the sensation was capped only by the smell, god I want to barf just thinking about it!

I once left a microwave lasagna in my microwave. I left town on emergency and didn't come back for another couple of months. When I looked inside my microwave I had my very own chia pet.

Yes lol. Left sandwiches in an ice chest for nearly a year. It's a good thing we get 5 months of winter here, or it would have been really smelly when I found them almost a year later.

I had gone out for dinner and my date had gotten some baked codfish and garlic-smashed potatoes. She had only eaten a bit of it, and had the rest "to go" which I put in the trunk of my car. Well, we ended up going to a comedy club, then for a few drinks, and then...well, things got frisky so we went back to my place. For two days. I took her home, and about a WEEK later I went to get something out of my trunk.

The smell of rancid fish laced with garlic assaulted me worse than the sight of Rueban Stoddard in a man thong.

Yes, I do that more than I like to admit, usually a client calling in crisis plays a factor. Fortunately, my cat has picked up the "slack" and let's me know before it becomes a "growing" problem...
