why do people hate scorpios?

Good question, probably because we are our own people, we tell it like it is & people sometimes can't handle that.

You can't group all Scorpios (or any zodiac sign) together. My best friend is a Scorpio and she is a wonderful, generous, devoted friend and loved by many, many people....been my best friend for many, many years. On the other hand, my sister is a Scorpio and she loves to start trouble between people, see people hurt emotionally, she's vindictive, and extremely jealous of most people, despises and makes fun of those that are considerate, and doesn't keep friends for any longer than a couple of months...when they are of no use to her anymore, then you'll hear her say how so & so is just no good and she won't bother with them anymore. She has alienated her sisters and her very own son. She lived for many years off her aged Mother & Father and had them support her and her son until she was well into her 40's and never even gave them a "thank you".

Scorpios aren't so much hated as misunderstood.
I actually get along pretty well with Scorpios (Even though I'm an Aquarius, though I've got a moon in Scorp). My sister (who is one of my best friends and very supportive), My cousin (who I admire, she's practically perfect), and one of my best friends (who is creative and very intelligent) are Scorpios that I love.

My guess as to why people tend to make negative judgementts on Scorpios so much is because they are extremley secretive. They also can understand human psychology and know what makes people tick, so if you **** one off they know exactly how to offend and hurt you. They're huge on holding grudges, manipulative, control freaks and extremley jealous.

What people don't tend to look at is that they are REALLY loyal and good friends. They will fight for a friend or loved one, and they are really good at keeping secrets. They're also very intelligent and I love having deep conversations with my Scorpions. They are also very creative and edgy, which is also a very attractive trait. I'll admit I've had my downs with the Scorpion, but the ups have been far better.

However, all the Scorpios I am reffering to when writing this are Female, I don't have much experience with male Scorpios.

We Scorpios are the most misunderstood types. Blame it on our secretive personalities. However, that mystery is what adds to our attractiveness. Those who "hate" us are either those who have actually wronged us, or are insecure of our strong personality. And remember, we are the most loyal and passionate sign.

My Best Friend aka my sister is a scorpio. I lover her, we get along great. Women hate her because their men lover her. She just has this great charisma, she also isn't afraid to tell anyone how it is, even if she has to be a total ***** to do it. And you can always depend on her anytime, vice versa.

i dont hate them, i dislike thier ways......... i say this because they can be insensitive to others needs and tend to only think about themselves. moreover, they do not want to let u help them, guess its a pride thing. i love the deep connection i have with them but i would also like for them to express this also outloud and show it (something they need to learn that some people need physical attn besides when its time to have sex).

I don't hate them, I just find it extremely hard to get along with them because they are just like the arachnid they represent-unpredictable and they WILL sting you in the blink of an eye.
