The Ducks are bigger than the Sens, but I would say the Sens are faster. Goalies are both great. I think the key to this series is going to be if the Sens can handle the Kid line of the Ducks. Perry, Penner and Getzlaf are not only big, but fast and great with the puck. The checking line of the Ducks is just plain awesome. The Ducks have also played teams that were fast with good goalies. I don't think the Sens have actually played a team like the Ducks.
BTW, I actually watched the East and West playoffs. I don't think many of you have ever really seen the Ducks play much this season. Interesting. This should be a good series. Ducks in 6.

Ducks Will Take Over as Senators when they Beat them in 7!
Or Ottawa Might Fry the Ducks After 6 Games, u Never Know!
When u Have 2 Teams that have never won the cup, it is so unpredictable!!!

The Ducks can skate with the Sens and hit with them as well. Giguere will do his part to slow down Ottawa's top unit, so the question becomes whether or not the Anaheim checking line can at least contain Spezza, Heatley and Alfredsson.
On the flipside, the key will be whether Emery can match Giguere in net and if/how Ottawa manages to diffuse the Ducks power play.
I think the series is good for at least 6 and the series will swing on the goaltending performances.

I think the Ducks are going to fizzle out. Ottawa is too powerful of a team.
My prediction: Ottawa in six.
That said, I'm hoping I'm wrong, to an extent, because I really want this to be an interesting series. Last year's Cup finals was the best I've seen since the Rangers and Canucks in 1994.

I don't think there will be any "handling" of the opposition in this series.
If the Sens don't win it in six, the Ducks will win it in seven. I'm taking the Sens in six, but to me it's really a coin flip. I just have a hard time believing one of these teams will be closed out on home ice.

I don't think so. The only thing that got the Ducks this far was Giguere, but that's because he seems to have Detroit's number. I don't think he will fare as well against Ottawa.
I just hope there's at least 5 games 'cause I'm flying to Cal. to see game 5 w/ my brother.

yes the ducks have a good chance of winning. especially if they can check with body hits in the offensive zone, and if they can hit when defending in their defensive zone. :)
