More Details:
I know I didn't give alot of info, so here...
When I went to shake the mouse as I always do after I leave for a while (I ALWAYS turn screen off when I'm gone even for 5 mins) I turned the screen on, and all I got was "No Signal". I thought this was odd, so I checked that everthing was plugged in (I didn't unplug anything while it was running, I'm not that stupid :D) then nothing was happening... No Keyboard lights, no optical laser on my mouse... Nothing.
I hope this is enough info, 'cause I dont know what else to say.

I called my uncle and asked him (retired TTC programmer) and he said it's strange that should happen, but he doesn't know what's up with it.

I have bad news for you. It can be either your power supply, mainboard, cpu or any combination of the three. Each component must be checked individually. That means you must either own an extra power supply, mainboard and cpu to test which one or combination has failed. If you don't own compatable extras then you have no choice but to scrap it and buy another or take it to a repair shop where they can run individuals tests. Sorry, it has happened to me many times but I am an avid overclocker and I keep extra components around. Good Luck

Disable your screen saver, and disable all of your "monitor power" option. Which means don't allow your computer to turn your monitor or HDD off after a preset time. I've seen computers that goes to sleep and never wakes up. And that usually requires a reboot by pushing the button.
Hope this helps, good luck!

Well, I hope that is the same thing I had with my computer just a few hours ago, If you turn it on and there is nothing, try to remove the ram and install a new one, I just have it the same thing you are talking about with me and I removed the old RAM and installed a new one and it worked.
Hope it helps

1st check all your cable connections.
2nd power it off and back on. if you hears some beeps but see no video, you may have a bad video card.If you have more that one video card, such as an integrated video and an add-on card it maybe using the wrong one.
Also unplug all usb devices. A short in a usb device will shut down the power supply.

i'm afraid you will no longer locate them everywhere. they do no longer seem to be easily saved on your laptop ... yet! they're held in RAM (your device memory). What you may desire to do is open up a photograph modifying utility (Paint is one, once you're utilising domicile windows), and paste the 'photograph' which you have have been given taken of your laptop as a clean photograph. (There are, of direction, many extra applications, which incorporate word processors etc which will additionally enable you to stick the image.) you may desire to try this once each and each photograph which you're taking as pressing Print exhibit screen will promptly overwrite the previous photograph that it became holding. there is no longer a manner, natively, to save each and each photograph devoid of you doing something, till you utilize a third occasion utility. Sorry, i don't comprehend the names of any applications which will try this for you, yet i comprehend that there are ones available.

Try to UN install the drivers for the mouse and the key board and restart, let the computer install new drivers automatically.

i've had the exact same problem.
the thing is that a monitor is not "hot swappable" meaning that you shouldn't turn it on or off while the computer is functioning.
leave it on.
