ok, here's the deal. My boyfriend and i have been having sex for a while, and i'm on birth control. this is my first month on it, and i've been bleeding for almost three weeks. A week after i started it, I've noticed that I've been getting bigger around my midsection and i'm waking up with my stomach in pain? My breasts are getting a little bigger also.. Does this mean I am pregant or am I just freaking out?

If your on the pill like you say you are then chances are your not pregant because it's 99 percent effective but you should always use a back up protection like a condom to be on the safe side. I'm not doctor but from what you are saying about bleeding for 3 weeks you proably have a condition and it's not normal for a woman to bleed for that long. There's a lot of things out there that could be the cause like what a lot of females have which is called the Ovarina Sysic Diease I can't spell it but you might have something serouis like that in which case you should go and see your doctor and find out what's the prolbem. No one on here would know unless there's a GYN on here but I suggest you go to your GYN and find out for sure. It sounds really serouis.

The doctor who gave you the BPCs should have told you to use protection the first month until the pills really kick in. Well, its definitely possible. Signs of pregnancy include: sore breasts, lethargy, mid cycle spotting, among others.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by bledding for almost 3 weeks? Some details would help on that.

What kind of stomach pain is it?

I would see a doctor really soon. They will be able to test you by blood which is more sensitive than any HPT. Good luck in the decision you're after.

You should always use backup protection when you just start on the pill for the first 3 months but if you think you are get a home preg. test the symptoms you have do sound like you might be but who am i to know that get a test and itll save you alot of stress.

Good Luck

Definitely sounds like this is an extreme medical alert. Contact your doctor to discover why you're bleeding, gaining weight, and becoming sick. I'd suggest taking a pregnancy test just to confirm your thoughts and to halt all sexual activity until you discover what's wrong.

It could be that your pills need to be changed. You could be pregnant, although those are not normal symptoms. It could be several other things, as well. You have to go to the doctor right away. This isn't something you can deal with on your own.

It could be because of the pill, you can gain weight on them. You shouldn't be bleeding like that though. Go see your doctor.
