I don't think its right but how do african americans expect for us to respect them if all you hear in the radio and music video is the N word and she's a B and so on
I don't think that Imus should have been fired if his company clearly in his contract hired him to be contriversal he has said many bad things about people from other colors
but if you say this word in a broadcast they jump on you but when they say it in front of you its ok bc its their word well I just don't get it they say its a figure of speech like saying bro but its not it has feelings so I don't understand why many demand respect when infact they don't respect themselfs?? They should fix themselfs bf they demand what they demand

for example my lil boy he's five and he has a friend that is black and he's only four well he called my son the N word I told him not to say it and I told his mom and she said its ok but its not ok I don't want my children to disrespect anyone regardless of what they think of themselfs and he is no longer allowed to play with that little boy so this is my point respect your self if you demand respect!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If she want's her skinny little *** whooped than it's ok. When black people say it, it's not meant in a derrogatory way. It is NOT meant to degrade someone because of the color of their skin. When we say it we use it in the same context of the word "dude" or friend. It's not like we go around calling our selves -GERS with the "E R". We tend to drop the ER and add an "A". That's what changes this meaning. When used in this context it could describe a person of any race, color, or ethnicity.

PS: AZrunner you sound like my girl JUDGE Judy "without moral compass". I like that.

I don't think it is ok for anyone to use the N word - she needs the crap beat out of her... let her say around the right person and watch what happens

First to Matthew it is not okay to use that word to anyone. Second to use the N word just shows how ignorant a person really is.

I don't think anything that ms. hilton does is okay. She's self-important trash without a moral compass.

that girl is a mess.
end of story.

No. It is not acceptable to anyone, except maybe another N.

But as far as her having the nerve to insult anybody I wish she would say it to or around me. She would have more than her clothes, jail, or Lindsey Lohan to worry about if she did...

She needs prayer but she is one of those people I come close to disliking.

Nicole Richie should take her to task because her adoptive parents are black. But she is an idiot too which is why I can't stand her either.

Noone should use that word. It's disgusting no matter what your skin color, ethnicity or nationality is. It's just a sad shame that word even exists.

Morally No! No! No!
But there is a thing called "freedom of speach" in this country, so if she used it she probibly would get away with it...Well or daddy would pay her way out of it.
That's America. Sad but true.

No, but in what context might help a bit to understand the situation, but not much. No one should use that word- it's demeaning.
