My opinion of Rosie has absolutely nothing to do with The View. She is a loud mouth person who feels that absolutely everything that spills out of her mouth matters to the entire world. If a person show disinterest in what she is saying on the attack she goes. Ya know how when you were in grade school and the kids picked on other kids? Most of the excuse given for their behavior is they are picking on you because they are jealous or because they feel bad about themselves and picking on someone else somehow, in their distorted mind, makes them feel better. This is absolutely true for Rosie and I cannot wait until she is off the View so I can watch regularly again. I would be totally suprised if she is hired by ANY television station in the future other than LOGO.

I think she too often makes unfounded, erroneous, controversial and sometimes hate-filled statements and is unwilling to support or expand on them when challenged.
I think Elisabeth Hasselback made a good point when she said Rosie throws out "rhetorical" questions without answering them, i.e. (paraphrased) Thousands of Iraqis have died because of the war, the US invaded Iraq, so who are the "real" terrorists?
She insinuates that the US military are responsible for the deaths she speaks of, thus implying that those responsible for the deaths are the "real" terrorists. So without "literally" stating the US military are the real terrorists, she has posed the rhetorical question in such a way that you deduct her reasoning to conclude she does believe the US military are the "real" terrorists (or the Pentagon and/or the Executive Administration).
Then, when Elisabeth asks Rosie to answer, clarify or defend her own rhetorical question, Rosie acts indignant and turns the question back to Elisabeth, asking "Do you really think I think the US military are terrorist?" Rosie can not defend or answer her own question because she knows she has been cornered logically and does not want admit her true beliefs on national television. She knows she would forever be linked to calling the US military terrorists.
She is happy to insinuate, imply and use innuendo, but stops short of stating facts or her true opinion. When you have a public platform/soapbox with millions of viewers and worldwide exposure, her tactics are completely irresponsible, particularly during a time of war.

I think she should have her own show again. It seems she likes to takeover any and all conversations. She is quite mean to Elizabeth when she talks about the president and the Repubican party. The show is called "The View", not her view. And believe it or not I do love Rosie, just not the way she has acted on this show. I know a lot of people who do not like her, but I think she is very inteligent and it doesn't really show on this show!

I believe Rosie was hired to improve the ratings with her loud opinions. Mission accomplished but at what cost! I am an individual person with my own opinions and when someone challenges my views with educated opinions, it causes me to THINK! I love that Rosie can make me think but I am deeply saddened by what "The View" experience has cost Rosie on a personal level. Sparring partners are great but when they cut you to the quick and watch you bleed on national TV, it is too much. Enough is enough! Rosie revitalized a dying show to make it full of energy and life. Give her kudos and stop with the personal attacks......

I don't care for The View, but I HATE Rosie O'Donnell. She's a piece of trash who is way too outspoken and thinks she knows everything about things she actually knows nothing about. I can't believe she's brainwashed so many fat bored housewives into thinking she's so smart. I wanted to punch her in the face for what she did to poor Tom Sellick.

I think that she is a fathead and blowhard who bashes christians every chance she gets and never lets anyone talk who has an opposing opinion . I will be glad when she is gone altogether from the show . I think that they need a good dose of class on that show . someone say like shirley mclaine ,olympia dukakis or kirstie alley or sally field . I think out of the three of those impressive women they would add so much to the view .

Okay people just because you do not care for someones view point doesn't mean you need to pick on them physically. Let's not all stoop to Donald Trump's level. If you don't agree with Rosie, which I do not, say your belief instead of she is ...

WHEN I THINK OF GREAT PEOPLE WHO make a difference i think of oprah or angelina,or hillary. you have to be able to be liked in order to sway public opinion. rosie speaks in anger and her point is made but not taken because she gets all obnoxious about it. tact TACT TACT WILL GET YOU FARTHER THAN anger
