The reason is likely they are very individualistic and don't want to answer to any person or any government. However, there can never be true anarchy. As long as there are folks who are dominant and wish to be in control there shall never be anarchy; anarchy is the absence of leadership.

Don't I hear all the time, if everyone had a gun we wouldn't need law enforcement. That if you take away social benefits and government medical coverage people would have to be responsible for themselves. Isn't the business desire to have as little government in their hair as possible the grand wish. That all sounds like a Very Loud outcry for Anarchy from a lot of YA responders.

Anarchy is not the absence of Government so much as it is the lack of need of government. the biggest problem is that for anarchy to work, social conscience has to be incredibly high and quite frankly humans are too greedy and self-centered to allow it to work.

Anarchists are highly misguided and have no idea how the real world works and all of the services that government provide. That's why they are usually rebelious teenagers or homeless by choice transients.

grover norquist (republican strategist) calls for policies that will weaken the government to the point that "i can drag it into the bathtub and drown it". would you consider norquist a anarchist? he labels himself a true conservative that wants to take government meddling out if your life.

if you learn nothing else from your question, you should learn that extremists always have more in common with each other than they do with common folk.

Because they do no know what it is. Infrastructures that they depend on would totally collapse. And their welfare checks would stop coming.
