Yes...Yes....Yes....I don't have a clue where I would be now if it were not for my sons. I lost my wife 4 years ago to a brain dis function. My sons are my world. They keep me grounded. Don't listen to all this non-sense about having 2 parents or not at all, just "Moral BS"!!!....From the sound of your question and a few that you have answered you sound like a woman with passion and a warm heart. "That" is what makes a great mom. GO FOR IT !!

I really believe that not everyone is supposed to have children. Some of the best aunts and uncles that I know have no kids at all. Luckily its a choice, and I really don't think it matters if you have someone else in your life or not. We get too caught up thinking that we have to have 2 parents, yada yada yada, to be good parents. Not true! If your are going to be the best parent ever, you don't need anyone but yourself.

Yes I would. I'm married (and have children), but I have a lot of single friends that don't have children. They're growing older and haven't found a mate, so their choosing to adopt. They have successful careers, beautiful homes, and the love and support of family & friends. They just don't have a spouse. I think adopting is great!! =)

I've thought of it but, then I'm the only child and it's tough not having a child, you need both your parents regardless if the mom has a good career or not. So I wouldn't cause the child would suffer like I did.

I can't imagine my life without my kids. When my ex-wife and I divorced, I fought like hell for custody...and I won!
All ever wanted was to return to God the gift that he had given to me, improved and nurtured. He gave me that gift three times over....and I'd do it allover again...spouse or not!

I have children with a husband and its nice but i would still love my kids and having kids around even if he were not here.
I think you either want them or you don't. It doesn't matter if you have a spouse you are still who you are.
