no they are not the same thing..they taste different its like saying coke tastes like pepsi.

-go buy a bag of funyuns and a bag of wise onion flavored rings..then tell me they taste the same the rings are not even the same people!

funyuns all the way, they make the best ear and nose rings. I simply love funyuns. The others do not have that wonderful onionie flavor.
