I have got one child who is 7 and have been trying for another baby for 4 years. i had the injection but stopped it as i really wasnt happy and read everywhere that it can take time to concieve.i had a laparoscopy and found out i had blocked tubes, so the injection really was pointless, they unblocked one of my tubes but said the hairs could be damaged. i now feel that my only way to conceive may be ivf. i get depressed every month and am starting to think i will never have another baby.
I am on the waiting list for ivf but only get 1 attempt and if that doesnt work i will never be able to afford another!! i work in maternity and find it hard sometimes.
Has anyone got any advice?

enjoy you little 1 their are some woman who don’t even have 1 or will never have at least 1 but my moms friends was in your same situation like you for 22 years at the age of 41 she had her 2 and las child good luck to you but remember that their is always adoption. ♥ god bless you and help you

Everytime you start feeling depressed just remember how lucky you are to have your 7 year old. It's hard to be surrounded by babies and not be able to have one for such a long time, chin up. I know it's not much but not everyone gets the chance to have a kid so reflect on how much you love your 7 year old.

Enjoy the child that you have and don't focus or think so much about having another child. You were blessed with one child. Make the best of that.

I think that since you had a child already and it seems that tubal issues are your only problem, your one chance at IVF will very likely work! Please have hope b/c it can happen.
