Nope. Remember the Seinfeld episode where Susan died from licking the old envelope glue???? Don't think you should try it. Or, you could buy the self adhesive stamps. So many options, so little time...

Dont lick the tiedye or greatful dead stamps unless you have a couple of days off.

Get the peel & stick. but make sure you get the additional two cent stamp too, otherwise you'll get your letter back.

I try not to. The glue tastes terrible. Sponge is the best way to go :)
