I had to go answer that question before I got to this one. I don't see that as a Christian view at all. I was raised Christian, and was taught to love all people. My parents were shining examples - they took in 'transients', bringing them right to the family dinner table, and the church rec building's sleeper sofa for a few nights. They had Jewish friends, close Atheist relatives, and a hippie of a foster daughter (who left home prior to my birth, but visited some). Today, at the family Memorial Day cookout, it is likely that the sister of a family friend will be there - she is openly gay, and not a one of us gives a hoot. THAT is what Christianity should be. My parents are far from perfect, but they practiced what they believed. They followed the words of Jesus, not the religion of man. THAT, is a Christian attitude. I am truly blessed to have been raised by them. Geez... now I gotta go write a letter to my mom... and I'm crying again... Blessings!
