Rosie O'Donnell on the view said "620,000 dead iraqis civilians in iraq. Who are the terrorists?"

Was she calling our soldiers terrorists?

Why can liberals stand behind that type of thinking?

Any thoughts?

There is something seriously wrong with this woman’s mind. Honestly, the conclusions she comes to and the opinions she espouses are so far removed from anything that could even remotely be considered common sense and/or a rational thought that after I hear her speak I just have to sit there for a few minutes stunned by the utter ridiculousness.

Let me address the first of many of her most ludicrous statements.

“Rosie O'Donnell says there's no reason for Americans to fear terrorists because they are just moms and dads like us.
On her ABC show "The View" last Thursday, she explained in less-than Rooseveltian fashion that Americans have nothing to fear but fear itself.
"Faith or fear, that's your choice," she told her co-host
“You can walk through life believing in the goodness of the world, or walk through life afraid of anyone who thinks different than you and trying to convert them to your way of thinking. And I think that this country ... ."
To which co-host interjected: "Well, I'm a person of faith, so I, but I also believe ... ."

"Well then, get away from the fear," interrupted O'Donnell. "Don't fear the terrorists. They're mothers and fathers."

Okay, so let me get this straight...according to the MENSA candidate (sarcasm there) Rosie, we have nothing to fear from the people that flew planes into the WTC, capture and behead our journalists, march in the streets advocating for us to die by the sword, and believe that allah will only return and set up a muslim utopia only after every last person in the world is either converted to islam or slaughtered....Just because they are mothers and fathers?

Am I the only one who sees how ri-damn-diculous this woman and her thinking is?

Just think about this. American troops are responsible for the freedom many places on the earth enjoy. If it was not for American trouble by now Hitler and his successors would of had killed off the Jews completely, France would be speaking German and Asian would have rivers flowing with human blood even in this day. Rosie knows this so why should she belittle the troops? This is even if she is against the Iraqi conflict in specific and war/killing in general. Even the Iraqi conflict opposers know this, so do you think they will disrespect the troops?

What I think she meant is that a lot of civilian lives has been lost since American invaded for political reasons. So the pain we expressed on 9/11 is happening to them in a way too. She is not implying that American troops are ruthless killers.

People, you have brains... try to use them once in a while to see the deeper meaning behind words!

She did not call us terrorist. She did not call our troops terrorist. She just made a point. America invaded a foreign country, and within the past 5 years, 620,000 of their civilians have died. Who do you think the Iraqi people think are the terrorist.

God, people. Don't listen to FOX News or Elisabeth Hasslebeck. That's how all this bull **** started. She DIDN'T call our troops terrorist. She was making a ******* point.

As properly-known, Rosie and Elizabeth have been arguing over politics. Rosie replaced into style or mad at Elizabeth for no longer protecting her while the media implied that Rosie talked approximately as our troops terrorist and he or she pronounced because of the fact Elzabeth did no longer look after her, Elizabeth replaced right into a coward.

No, she wasn't calling our soldiers terrorists, she was calling Bush and the administration the real terrorists. Soldiers are just doing their jobs.

And 620,000 dead Iraqi civilians is a real number estimate. I'm sure glad we "liberated" them! I'm sure the friends and relatives of these dead feel no resentment to the US and don't want to attack us or become terrorists themselves to get back at us. They're very understanding.

My thoughts are this...stop watching Fox and their Rosie obsession, she stated something that was ignorant but what is she running for? I mean really, if your going to listen to people like Rosie, or Limppaw and Coulter from the other extreme, then you've already lost the battle. i will say this though, more people need to at least listen to Ron Paul, he has a very valid point with regards to Iraq that has been played down in the media...It doesn't matter as much how we perceive our actions in this war as it does the people on the fence in these communities who see civilians getting killed by the good guys then wonder if maybe we're full of it.

Unfortunately she is an idiot, she has a right to speak her mind. I am in the military and have served for over ten years with two deployments to Iraq. What she should remember, if there are that many dead civillians, they have been killed by Iraqi's. Are there innocent lives lost during a time of war, sadly yes, but we try to limit the collateral damage. I have been in firefights where the insurgents were surrounded by civillians, we could have easily called an air strike and wiped them out, however, we didn't want to kill innocent people, so we used accurate direct fire (rifles). It was more dangerous to us, but we know that for each innocent we kill by accident, there will be a family that is turned against us.

I just watch the view to look at the vision of hotness Hassellbeck, or whatever her name is.

I hit the mute button when I see the camera pan to Rosie.

I love Rosie, she knows how to stirr the shil. See, when ya stirr the pot, everyone starts talking, then maybe baby, things get worked on. Now if she can only get Donald Trump a new wig, things would be better because Oprah would then ask Trump for a date, and hey, anything could happen after that. What about Gayle though? Would she have to live with Rosies ex-girlfriend, whats her name?

No we are fighting an evil war from an evil man, Georgie boy. Americans our the greatest terrorists. And I'm ashamed of it. Any haters out there... I won't be coming back to this question to look at you idiotic remarks.
