Yep. Right or wrong, for giuliani to stand there and try to act like the 9/11 attacks happened in some sort of vaccuum really tells you how dumb he thinks we all are, doesn't it?

Ron Paul was just making a clear point, that Rudy doesn't have a clue. I did like the reaction the point made got from the propagandist. They don't even have a clue, oblivious in denial. Not any type of leadership qualities I want for a leader of the free world.

Paul's "mistake", if you will, is that he put the cart before the horse in the debates.
What he needed to do was state his position that he favors a limited foreign policy, just like Founding Fathers such as Washington. It was even the stated policy of Bush 43. I think many people would support that position.
Once establishing his credentials, he should have stated that nothing in the world justified the attacks of 9/11. It was a criminal act. Again, he will not get any opposition to that position.
Once he establishes that, he can then go into a discussion on how our foreign policy leads to opposition around the world. He could ask things like, "Why does no one attack Switzerland, etc. It's because they have a foreign policy that does not invite a hostile response from other nations."
In truth, I think a guy as bright as Guilliani knew full well what Paul meant. But in order to score points in the debate, he twisted Paul's statement into "Al-Qaeda's 9/11 attacks were justified." Once Paul stepped into this trap, he did not do a good job of getting out of it.

I just read that. I thought it was great. If people keep voting for Guilliani, Hillary Clinton, McCain, and Obama, they are going to keep getting the same corporate crap we have now. I'd love to see a Dennis Kucinich/Ron Paul ticket. Or a Gravel/Paul ticket. That would make our government much more interesting and get our country back on the right track.
I wish Guilliani was intelligent enough instead of so reactionary to accept advice. His arrogance toward Paul is very troubling. If he's like this with advice from another candidate, how is he going to be to intelligent advice from other voices in government who may offer something as intelligent advice but he brushes off. We don't need anymore of a secluded government and secretive White House that we already have now.

Personally, I enjoy it.
So far, Mr. Paul has been backing up what he says.
I can't say that about most of the other candidates.
Edit: Pythagora- I agree with the cart before the horse statement and Rudy twisting it, but don't you like how Ron Paul responded?

Well the whole thing is that this election seems to be coming down to a war vote. People like Guiliani because he was the lucky guy who was mayor of New York city during the 9-11 attacks. BTW how come we never hear anything about the mayors of surrounding cities. Funny isnt it?

Giuliani should read everybody Ron Paul gave him and then apologize to Dr. Paul for his ridiculous remarks at the Republican debate.

Good for Paul. I doubt that Guiliani will even acknowledge it though.
George Will wrote a good column in Newsweek in February stating how Ron Paul for President candidacy would shake up the GOP this year.
Looks like Paul is living up to his word.

And your point is?
We aren't going to leave the ME no matter what. If the radical Muslims can be there then so can we, the big difference is we are there cause we were asked to be there and they were not.
