Nope, but my brother won $50,000 on the PA Lottery and spent most of it paying off the hospital bills left by my father after he died from cancer (so my Mom wouldn't be stuck paying them) and the rest he used to buy a small pick-up truck for the new job he was just starting.

The highest I ever won was $600. I did win a weekly prize once. That was a gold album of Hotel California by the Eagles. I thought that was pretty cool. I sold it later for $500 to a collector.

Last summer, my wife and I were on vacation to WA to visit my family before I deployed to Iraq. Up the road from our home was a reservation casino. Over one week, I won about 6 thousand dollars. I was happy because it covered the cost of our trip, but my wife takes control of the money, so she was happier than I was.

does the lottery count. this is a lot of money to me. my husband and I were on vacation he was filling up the car and bought me a scratch ticket. I was scratching away and I was about halfway through and nothing, I was thinking looser, then suddenly, winner, so I scratch the amount thinking it would be like $2, nope $3000. I jumped out of the car and showed it to my husband to make sure that I was correct at what I was seeing. $3000 won on a scratch ticket wile on vacation.
