I don't have one anymore. I use my cell phone for everything. Why waste the money?

I have a phone at home, but no cellphone.

If I need to talk to someone when I'm out, I'd just use a pay phone.

We did that for about a year and then the tower in our area was out for 12 days and we had no phone, so now we have the most basic plan, in case of an emergency.

yes I do My Computer is hooked up we still have dile up service for the net.And My daughter who will be 15 this weekend is always on the home phone.So we have cell phones so people can get ahold of us.I don't have long distance service on my home phone ,I have it on my Cell

Because some calls during the day are not that important. Why waste minutes on jabber?

We dropped ours last week. My wife has been advocating it for about a year, but I hesitated.

We have our cells and I don't miss the land line one bit.

*sigh* why did i get a home phone? i can't remember. it's now part of my internet and cable package though.
