What is the right course? Everyone has a different idea of what the right course is. To use your right couse analogy, think of this.

You and I are on a boat, we are leaving Miami, I want to go to Cancun, and you want to go to Bermuda. If we are traveling north you will say we are on course and I will disagree, if we are heading south I will say we are on course and you will disagree. Who is right?

That is the problem today, about 50% want to go to Bermuda, and 50% want to go to Cancun. Some agree with the democrats and others agree with republicans, there is no consensus. Therefor no right course.

Guts. Courage, Blood. Seat. Tears. IRON WILL. That last thing we no longer possess so...we will not be able to turn it around. They are doing this, and then they ssay, watch out for Global Warming...where are all the new cars, refridgertors, AC units, fresh drinking water etc going to come from? How is that going to affect Global Warming? How about we ad another 200 million people to our already overwhelmed system? That ought to fix it eh? Blind and myopic leaders are what we have. We need leaders with clarity of vision, and strength to do what is right. We have neither. Given the nature of the American people it is too late to save us. We are divided down between Rosie O Donnel and Bill O'Reilly. There will be a revolution before our feckless leaders ever do anything for us. And watch as we all vote the same way we always have. We ought to throw ALL the bums out and start over.

Separate business from government. A business should have no greater access then a citizen to government and the interest of business should be no greater then that of citizens.
The President should not be a member of a political party. The president must represent the interest of all Americans not those of one party or another. Term limits for congress 2 term of 6 years for representatives and 3 for senators. Congress should receive no pay or benefits till a budget is approved and their pay will be the last appropriation in the budget after debts are honored. Unsecured credit should not be recoverable by courts. Lenders should beware.
Salary cap for employs of publicly traded companies. Set the cap at 2 million / year including expenses.

That would about do it.

As a start? EVERY ONE OF US gets up EVERY DAY and thinks about the sacrifices many generations of Americans made to give us the country we have.

Then we ask ourselves what we should do to prove ourselves worthy of what they have given us, and act to make sure our descendants receive a country at least as strong, prosperous and free as we did.
