Forgive me guys and girls, I won't choose a best answer, I can't decide which one to choose, so I'll let that be by voting. However, I would like to thank you for your opinions, sometimes we need to know what others think about some matters.

My reason? It's rather a cause than a reason, I'm a cycling runner and I wish I wouldn't have to do it because it's really hard work and I find that annoying. I have to shave at least once a week and the reason is doing the massage, it can't be done with hairy legs. Thanks again.

I remember that all the guys on the swim team shaved their legs. I also remember that Olympic runner Frank Shorter shaved his legs.

If you aren't a competitive swimmer or a member of a track team, why would you want to do it?

Considering I'm a swimmer (girl) and all the guys on my team shave their legs for big meets, I really don't have a problem with it. They also shave their chests, arms, backs, and heads...

If they're not in a sport though, then, well...it's a little weird.

It all depends on the reason. If you are on the swim team or you can get away with the excuse that your girlfriend made you do it, then most guys will think nothing of it. On the other hand, if you did it just to do it and were flaunting it, guys would think that you were gay and stupid, and quite a few other bad things.

If I happen to notice a man with shaved legs, I generally don't give it a second thought beyond thinking that he must participate in some sort of sport - swimming, football, etc.

I appreciate a well groomed man. And I'm less inclined to notice if he's shaved his legs than I am no notice how ugly his hairy legs might be.

Don't do it unless you are an athlete or bodybuilder and you absolutely must. Either than that it's not necessary and yes does look more feminine.

Gay
Guys who do it for sports only do that sport to justify shaving their legs.
Nothing against gay people but they should just come out of the closet. There is nothing to be ashamed of.

if their legs are really hairy then they should at least be trimmed. i used to beg my ex-boyfriend to shave his legs cause they were really, REALLY hairy...luckily my current boyfriend doesn't have much body hair at all.

unless you need to for swimming or cycling, I see no purpose in men shaving their legs.
