I use iTunes on my desktop and my laptop.

Recently, I put a whole bunch of new music onto my laptop, and when I went to plug my iPod into it, it refuses to automatically sync the new music to my iPod. Also, when I try to manually do it by right clicking on the iPod button and clicking "Sync to iPod", it won't do anything.

Why is it doing this, and how can I make the new music get onto my iPod?

Thank you for all your help!

It may help to mention that it once did upload music automatically on my laptop, but now, even after following the first answerer's advice, it still won't do it.

I don't know why it's doing this.

It sounds like you may not have authorized your laptop to your iTunes account yet. You can't just install the software, upload songs and start syncing.

Open iTunes and go to the store option at the top of the window and click on authorize computer. Each iPod owner can authorize up to 5 computers on a single account.
