Was there an attendant at the time? If you reported it to the police they would have to question the attendant. As for suing the management I don't think you would win because your parking there at your own risk. Unless you can prove negligence on the attendants part. Best thing you can do is claim it on your insurance.

Usually no...because they have signs posted that waive liability for theft or loss...and the location of the booth would serve as evidence that maybe they should have seen the theft...but this only applies if you reasonably believe that someone was watching your care at all times...if you left it overnight or know that the attendants move around...it would negate that claim....contact an attorney in your area for further info.

i also have gone thru this. your state may have different laws so you will have to ask. my car was sitting about 20 feet from a constantly manned booth.my bumper was stolen.now there are signs in the lot saying they are no responsible.what the law actually says is that they are not responsible as long as they make a reasonable effort.for someone to remove a bumper it was very obvious that no effort was made. they had to get me a new bumper

Probably not. Almost every parking garage everywhere has a sign posted that they are not responsible for the security of your vehicle.

Probably not, because they usually give you a ticket stub saying they are not responsible for anything. But that's too bad what happened. Good luck!

The parking stub probably releases them from negligence; HOWEVER, it doesn't release them from GROSS negligence. If you can prove GROSS negligence, you will have a case.

If they broke into it, sure. If not, you are screwed.
