spend their time and energy fighting something that actually would make the world a better place like world hunger, global warming, world peace, criminals. I feel like they are trying to beat a dead horse and if they want to do good why not spread love instead of hate? They seem to be more worried about gay people than the more important issues. I agree that people should put their energies to better use. In my opinion, everyone should mind their own business. This is supposed to be a free country. Also, Jesus taught us not to judge others. So why are so many Christians doing it ? I am a Christian, straight and have been married 45 years. In my long experience, gay people are no different , except in sexual preference. I also believe that they are born gay and it is impossible to change. Many lives have been ruined trying. Some day scientists will find the chemical or hormone that causes this and then people will have a choice in the matter. If God made you, you're all good.

There is no logic to homophobia, or any other kind of hatred, so you will not get any logical answers.
In addition to being misdirected, I believe they are lazy.
Destroying, hating, and tearing things (and people) down is far easier than creating, loving, and building things (and people) up.
The first can be done without ever knowing who you are attacking, while the second requires a personal investment in terms of time and effort.

It counters the definition of a homophobe..I think that homophobes are already really unhappy in themselves..i can't see them genuinely trying to help others (unless they think by doing so that they are saving their own souls). Happy people don't go around beating dead horses or disliking the world we live in.

My problem is not with you, nor do I care what life style you choose to live. I serve a God who gave everyman a free will to do as they want. It is not my Job to judge you for what you do. It is however my Job to protect my children from things that should not be taught in a public setting. I do not agree with the teaching of anything sexual straight or gay in the public school setting. Nor do I agree with the lopsided teaching of right and wrong. You cannot have a fair teaching as long as the sides allowed to participate are preselected based on what they believe, and best serves the system as to what is wanted to be taught. You cannot teach true morality by providing only one side of the argument, you have to have people on the Moral Left, and the Moral Right to properly give the people the information to make their own decision. I will stay out of your face, if your movement stays out of mine. I don't have to accept your lifestyle as right, nor do you have to change. Good luck, and lets all just live Peacefully together on the streets of this great nation that allows our diversity to be expressed, ignored, or tolerated depending on our own convictions within the confines of the law.
