Its envy. The other side is whatever you don't have....and whatever someone you know does have.
The other side is the other side of the fence...meaning your neighbor.
Don't covet thy neighbors crap....

It's not...the grass isn't always greener on the other side..some people THINK it is...for example...some girl has a really good guy...but....she sees another guy and thinks he is all that and some...and thinks hmmm maybe....and goes out with him....and finds out he is a real jerk...she messed up what she had with the genuinely good guy and found out the grass WASN'T greener on the other side.

It is always greener because "they" actually spray paint the grass to make it look more green, thus why it is greener. The other side is just behind the curtain.

the grass is usually greener on the other side until you get to the other side and find out how much the water bill and maintence is to keep it as green. then you learn to appreciate the grass you had on your side all the time.

What's on the other side is something that you don't have. We always seem to want something that we don't have. That's why it always SEEMS like the grass is greener on the other side.

its not cuz the people on side1 think that the grass is greener on the other side and people on the other side think that grass is greener on side 1 so yeah

Well I am on the other side, and let me tell you, we have a full time lawn crew at work on our yard every day, so the grass stays pretty green. We also spray green paint on it so even the dead grass shines. How's the grass over there?

who said so? have you ever been there? but its all relative to the situation. Just because you think the grass is dead on your side of the street don't always mean its nice and beautiful on the other side. and if it is green on that side when you get there who is to say it won't die .. then where you at? stuck wondering what if............

Coz the other side fools you into believing that the greenery on their side is grass when actually it's weed. That's y you see the other side always so high and happy ;)

The other side is who you evny or who your jealous of. And it's always greener because you think there life is perfect thats why you envy them but you don't know of the bad stuff thats going on so they probably envy you!
