No. Jack saw a manifestation (according to the producers in The Answers special) of his father, but he was not found alive.

Jack's father is dead. He died in Sydney. That's why Jack was on flight 815, he was transporting the body home.

Jack has seen a vision of his father on the island, widely believed to be either Jacob or the smoke monster. It led him to the caves, where they then set up camp for awhile.

Christian's casket was found on the island but it was empty.

Jack saw a vision of his father on the island, which most people are thinking the island/smokey manifested itself into Christian so Jack could be led to the caves and the bodies.

He forged the prescription from his father so he could feed his drug addiction. His father is really dead, which is why he reacted that way to the doctor talking to him and the pharmacist.

No, He died befor the plan crash not on the island. the vision he had was a self made vision.
