I noticed today that the area right above my pubic hair is sore to the touch. It doesn't bother me when I sit, stand, or walk. It's not bothered by my clothes either. I also noticed that it has poofed out a bit and is more in an angle to my stomach. Is this just my stomach expanding because of being pregnant? Also I had itching on the sides of my stomach the other day and was wondering if that is growth too? I'm 8 weeks pregnant with my first so I don't know much about what it feels like for your stomach to grow.

Normal....any stretching of the skin will cause it to itch..

Get used to itching...that will happen up to your delivery. Get a good lotion with Vitamin E oil in it. That can help the itching, and it also helps your skin's elasticity as it stretches to accommodate your little one.

Besides that, it's hard to say. Each pregnancy is different. Some women have no morning sickness while others are nauseated for 9 months straight...

Just enjoy the ride. Eat well, rest when you want to, and find a prenatal exercise class.

Congratulations, and good luck--

Your uterus is getting bigger and is at the very bottom of your abdomen. And yes it will itch as your skin is expanding. It is normal, just make sure to Hydrate your skin once or even twice a day to avoid stretch marks. Don't worry everything will be alright. Get the book what to expect when expecting and you can get all your answers.

Yep! The baby is starting to grow and your starting to show! Congrats!! My baby is graduating from High School next Sunday, but I still remember all the fun times of being pregnant. Start using cocoa-butter cream to avoid stretchmarks.

It is totally normal to have a soar spot. It will probably get worse as you get bigger and futher longer. Itching is very common. Try not to itch those spots with your nails. I heard, but I cannot confirm, that can worsen strecth marks. Some women itch more than others. Use lots of lotion!

Normal. Same thing happened to me. If you are worried, mention it to your doctor at your next visit. Good luck with the pregnancy. You will be amazed at what you feel when you see the baby the first time. Unbelieveable!!!
