I know you are looking for sad songs to suit your mood but the best songs would be fun songs. You would be better off listening to happy and fun songs with lots of energy to get yourself out of a rut. If anything, that positive energy might even be attractive either to new people or even your partner whom you are having a problem with. Lots of nice full on rock helps me a lot.

i would listen to songs that actually help you GET OVER it. even if thats not what your trying to do they will still empower you and make you feel stronger. my favs are
bad habit, through with love & survivor by Destiny's Child
don't waste your time by A. Franklin
Picture to burn by Taylor Swift
No more pain & enough crying by Mary J
and Fool for you by Cherish

but if thats not your type of music you can find your own songs that make you strong..going to itunes and looking through playlists to find them is a good option if you can :)

"If you're going through hell" by Rodney Atkins (I think he sings that)

"Bye bye" by Jo Dee Messina

are 2 good songs for example

anything fast beat, no matter what anyone says, DO NOT listen to slow songs, they will bring you down. Fast place music will keep you upbeat and you will want to smile..trick your brain girl :)
