Install the card and turn on the computer if the card is not immediately recognized go to the "creative " web site and check for drivers. Chances are it'll be recognized straight out of the box.

Hi. An OEM sound card may just run on standard drivers. You will get a "Found new hardware" message and the computer will find them.

Start --> Control Panal --> Printers And Other Hardware Then on the right side there will be an option that says sounds, speech and audio devices then click sound and audio devices and go to properties and see if its there, if it is, go to properties, and play around, no sure exactly what from there, but it shouldnt be that difficult. Go here and download the drivers for it first
http://www.creative.com/language.asp?sDestUrl=/support/downloads
Run the installer, shut down your PC and install the card. Reboot and you should be straight.
