Did any of the episodes show the guys actually have some kind of proof of an apparition? Seems like their faking it and its like watching a scary movie but know scary people.

sometimes they say theycan hear people talking, but I can't hear it because of the background music they put in after editing.

i dont think that they are faking it because a lot of the places they go they are able to "debunk" it and prove that nothing is there.
watch the st. augustine lighthouse episode. it gives me chills just thinking about it!!

They are kind of selling out, in recent years. Way back in the day, before the TV show, they were more focused on the science and research elements. But the Sci-Fi network has been putting a ton of pressure on them to get "results that sell", so they've kind of had to make concessions. It still portrays paranormal investigation fairly accurately, but if you've ever done the real thing yourself you can totally tell TAPS has gone Hollywood.

I love that show. Their have been many instances where they have seen some pretty cool things and captured some of them on camera. Check out the TAPS website. They have some clips from the shows where they caught some cool things on camera. You have to remember though that they are trying to disprove most of the reported hauntings. If they were trying to prove them, I would think what they caught was fake. They believe that most cases are fake.

Even if one believes that there is a possibilty of ghost or something we don't understand........ the show is all so cheesy and pandering to those who don't care if they are faking it. Its kind of like wrestling...... everybody knows it is not real but it is amusing to some regardless.
Actually if I took a pencil, stabbed it through my eye and carved out part of my brain that regulates intelligence I might actually find it entertaining.

I liked to watch it when I was stoned. It does seem fake at times though. I don't know if it's all fake, or if the guys just let their imaginations get the best of them.

Trust me what they are doing is the real thing and one day they will answer a lot of questions. And yes they have caught a lot of ghosts on video. And yes they have gone a little HW. BUT THATS SHOW BIZ.
