I don't think that anybody in their right mind would see it as fiction. If you take a real good look at the change in weather patterns in terms of temperatures and how many hurricanes and other storms are happening something is causing it obviously.

Well..I believe the planet warming is a fact, how much Man is causing is the debate. The planet has always had periods of warming and cooling, even before man got involved. While I do think the Global Warming alarmist have their own agenda, how mean really how much has Al Gore made giving speeches, on that movie etc...I also believe we have a responsibility to be good stewards of the planet

I haven't made up my mind yet. Many, many years ago (70's) I saw a scientist on the Today Show who said we were headed for another Ice Age. He made predictions about coming changes in weather and stated these were signs of the coming Ice Age. Apparently, now those same signs predict global warming, which confuses me. There is a book by Michael Crichton "State of Fear" in which he discusses global warming, the scientific community and the government's reasons for putting this theory forth; but in it he makes an interesting statement. Namely that if you can't predict the weather for more than ten days, and that not necessarily with any degree of accuracy, how can you predict what's going to happen climate-wise, in 100 or 1000 years? That makes sense to me.

Obviously fact. Look at the average global temperature. Look at the crack in the Northern polar ice cap. It's big enough to actually get to the North Pole on a decent sized ship.

It's both, it's a fact that it is happening, however it is a purely natural phenomenon. The Earth changes climate every 100 thousand years naturally and all by it's self. Humans' impact on this process is greatly exaggerated. Even if we were to completely end green house emissions, the change would still occur, it is part of the cycle of the earth's development and change

Read "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton....then make your own mind up. He back up every single fact in the book that global warming is a fallacy with evidence and two appendix at the back. I don't believe it anymore...

I truly believe it is fact. I'm not a recent convert as so many are since Hollywood embraced it. I have done a lot of reading, watched documentaries pro and against.
I'm worried for what will happen to our world if we don't take decisive, rapid, corrective action.
