Anyone seen this? When i first heard of the new movie i was skeptical.

Then i saw the production photo of Rambo trying to look 30, and laughed.
Now ive seen this and pray the movie is half as good as the preview.

I haven't seen it but the movie is called "John Rambo" and should be out sometime in May 2008. It had other titles as well so I don't know what it will end up being.
Rambo IV: End of Peace
Rambo IV: Holy War
Rambo IV: In the Serpent's Eye
Rambo IV: Pearl of the Cobra
No way a Vietnam Veteran can try to look thirty when the war's been over for 30 years. Must be funny.

Judging from the trailer this movie has the exact same plot as the last two Rambo films.
Step 1, Rambo is asked by some person to go on a mission to stop some evil people or rescue hostages. Step 2 , Rambo says no. Step 3, The person who asked Rambo to go, goes on the mission and gets captured. Step 4, Rambo goes in and kills all the bad guys in a horrible gruesome fashion and rescues the people who were captured. The End.
Honestly this movie looks to be yet another stupid, pointless comeback attempt by yet another action star who is way past his prime. If you are at the age where you have to take massive amounts of steroids to get the physical shape you need to be in the movie it is time to stop.

I did see the trailer and it wasnt half bad, although you are right sylvester stallone trying to act a lot younger is quite humorous. The main thing with the trailer is the gore where Rambo clearly kills people in a realistic fashion, where the camera shows everything. I too pray that this movie at least lives up to the hype that it will recieve in the coming months.

The trailer was cool and i liked Balboa so we will see if Rambo is able to make us believe that even at 60 he is still the bad a$$ that he always has been.
