i had to reboot recently using my acer back up program from a back up file on the hard drive. now i cant back up when my pc starts it says that refeerence files cant be found and my taskbar has turned white. this keeps happening every few weeks or so. i dont have a system restore date earlier than today 24.05.07 anyone got any ideas

Hm... somehow it seems like a lot of your key refs got deleted somehow in the backup, or weren't backed up when you did the reboot. I would recommend backing up your key files to an external source (hard drive or CD/DVD) then trying a full system restore, namely reformat the hard drive with the Acer system restore disk.
