her breast no longer hurt. Is this the normal progression, or is something else going on?

She didn't sleep through the night before because she had to get up 5 or 6 times to urinate.

I wouldn't worry too much. I am pregnant and my breast no longer hurt and I may sleep through one night and not the next due to too many bathroom breaks. Your best judgement is to ask the dr. but I'm pretty sure it's no biggy.

There are no alarm bells going off there with what you said. There are no finite rules to pregnancy. Even bleeding doesnt necessarily mean danger although you should always check it out. I only had sleeping problems in the last month, I slept like a baby before then. I also never got morning sickness in the morning, and I only threw up three times in 8 months (which is where I'm at now) My breasts were always tender. They never hurt. But it also doesnt mean that if they do hurt that is a problem either.
Lots of little wierd things can happen like that. But trust me, Mother Nature made pregnancy a strong and robust condition. it can handle sex, alcohol, caffiene and sometimes car accidents in the case of a friend I know! My Mother fell over at 8 months pregnant right on her belly....which was me! And I turned out fine and a great student in school! :)

If your wife has so far had the thumbs up from the doctors and is not in any risk categories, then dont worry about this. But your doctor is always happy to soothe the minds of worried mothers to be with a simple phone call!

:o) Good luck, I'm having a girl!!

I'm in my 9th week and surprisingly I also slept through the night a few times this week, with very minimal breast soreness. It's normal. I think the urinating, depends mostly on how much fluids she has before going to bed. Don't think there's anything to worry about but if she's still in doubt, call your dr. Good luck!

I don't think that there is any reason for her to be worried. When my sister was pregnant, her breasts hurt for a couple of weeks, then stopped, but then resumed after the baby was born because of the swelling. Me, on the other hand, didn't have any signs of that. I never hurt. I just think that every woman is different when it comes to being pregnant. Most women I know, though, don't hurt for long or throughout the entire pregnancy.

sure, for some little ones it truly is common. At 8 weeks, I already had human beings (physician, mom-in-regulation, WIC) telling me to maintain her up late and don't enable her nap late so she might sleep longer at nighttime. My mom, even with the undeniable fact that, suggested enable her do her very own undertaking and whilst she's waiting this is going to ensue. particular sufficient, at 9 weeks, my daughter began out slumbering 6 hours rapidly, from 10pm-4am. Then it have been given longer from there, till she became slumbering 12 hours a nighttime. no could desire to be demanding, it truly is common. If she needs foodstuff she would be waiting to enable you already know. the only time I demanding became whilst she might nod off early and pass over her bedtime bottle. I demanding, yet as long as she wasn't ill or something I only enable her be and took my cues from her. there have been cases she awakened and had a bottle formerly going to mattress, or cases whilst she fell asleep at 6pm and slept rapidly by way of till ultimately the subsequent morning.

I've had insomnia for 16 years and got worse after pregnancy. This week was the first time I've slept through the night and I'm loving it!

Your pregnancy symptoms will change or dissipate at a moments notice. Amazing how we come rely on our symptoms. I did the same thing when my breast finally quit hurting around week 16 or 17. She shouldn't be worried unless she starts bleeding.

Side effects of pregnancy will come and go. Usually your breasts will not hurt constantly, but doctors understand a mother's fears (especially first-timers!) so don't hesitate to call. There are no silly questions when it comes to pregnancy! If she doesn't feel completely comfortable after reading our responses on here, she should feel free to call the nurse practioner OR her doctor at her clinic to ease her mind.
Oh, and tell her to enjoy the sleep while she can! :) Good luck to you both.

Pregnancy symptoms come and go, as your wife will find out. Just because she feels something one day and not the next doesn't mean that she is not pregnant all of a sudden. At this time in her pregnancy, she will know if something goes awry.
