Elizabethi is young and defensive and loves this president and the administration....but, at some point, she mentioned that she was having second thoughts about some of the actions the President is taking...having said that, she should really try to listen to what Rosie is ACTUALLY saying....everything gets convuloted with every sentence, because you have to defend the second behind you constantly....Rosie and Elizabeth have to actually respect each others opinions by arguing the points properly....and then try to work it out point by point...not everyone is right all the time, but the facts will prove who may be the closest......I still say, we must wait 20 years for the real stories instead of the little 'blips' that come out in the press...and there is really where Rosie is right.....if you are to be quoted, please put the whole text in, so we all can decide for ourselves whether we agree or disagree...anything else is TOTALLY unfair....Elizabeth will learn this too, as she is now being quoted in a big way, and will be ticked off if misquoted (and we would not blame her either, would we?) and....to add to your question....if Elizabeth had her husband or childi n the war...she may very well have a different point of view...or at least still love the President, but beg him to reconsider certain points......

I think Elizabeth and alot of Republican Pundits and Politicians would be marching to a different drum if there loved ones were in this War.
Or there was a Draft on with the threat of there children or family getting Drafted.
I don't think there would even be a War still going on!!
When the Intrepid Fallen Hero's Center for our wounded troops was dedicated a couple of months ago in Texas where were they all at?
They are constantly saying we support our troops but when it really gets down to walking the walk where are they?
They're on TV calling people unpatriotic.
Rosie was there and she gave alot of money to help build it.
I think Elizabeth is clueless and has no idea of the true cost of War.

Should Elisabeth take a moment and consider how she would feel if she or a loved one, were ordered to fight for someone else that didn't want her help, ask for her help, appreciate her help, and she would probably die doing it; she would understand the concept. Elisabeth would feel differently if she visited the Military hospitals and ask our injured or their families if the loss was worth it. I do not believe naivete should be shunned but when a public figure voices their opinion so venomously towards others then prove you have a clue as to what's actually going on in the world around you .

I agree with you 100% and I've called her a Rebublican with Rose Colored Glasses before myself. I thought I was the only one who felt this way about her and NO she doesn't have anyone close to her serving in the war. I would have to believe her tune would change if "TIM" (Mr. Football) was over there serving in the war and fighting with the troops. I doubt she'd be so supportive of Bush then because she's be doing everything possible to bring her man home safe and sound which is what ever other Wife and Mother want too.
Hope that helps.........

It blows my mind that people are saying "poor Rosie". Elisabeth has the right to her own opinion, and her's is the only realistic one. Talk about rose colored glasses.....I think that people like Rosie are the ones with the glasses, considering they live in a dream world where it's all rainbows and ponies! Wouldn't it be nice if it were that way? I think we all agree it would, however, since the beginning of time, it never has been.

She does have friends in Iraq. But the Military cannot question the war, they have to do what they are told. Elizabeth believes whatever her military friends tell her.

I think neither one of them should have been discussing this to begin with cause this kind of talk starts fights . I dont like rosie at all and I will be glad when she is gone . I thought rosie was tacky when she attacked elisabeth for being a christian . she does that all the time . she bashes christians for their beliefs and yet when someone speak out against gays she jumps all over them . donald trump was right she is a moron who does not know when to shut up and let someone else voice their opinion.

Ive heard her say she has friends and many family members of friends in Iraq and Afghanistan. I think she would feel differently is she indeed had her own family members there.

Elizabeth is an idealist and yes she does have friends and family in this conflict.
Rosie is just a big bully that is going off the deep end.

Her rhetoric would be totally different if her hubby Tim was there. And I don't want to hear that crap about troop support. Rosie supports them with her pocketbook and millions. She has my respect, not Elisabeth. Elisabeth needs to shut up and put her money where her mouth is.
