The laws of supply and demand dictate gasoline prices.
China and India, with their populatios in the billions are taking your jobs and money to buy cars and gasoline (demand) while NOT supplying of the petroleum for gasoline. (Supply).
We see the results daily.
What can America DO about it?
Can't blame the oil companies. The environmental extermists won't allow the building of refineries or the drilling for oil.
Neither China or India have polution controls on their cars but they want US to reduce polution!
The Kyoto Accords exempt China and India from controling polution.
Serious comments and suggestions PLEASE.

Push like hell for the use of alternatives as soon as possible if not sooner. Demand incentives for development of alternatives. If we don't demand it will never get done. Write letters, form rallies, demonstrate, what ever we need to do to get attention on this matter. Most of all we need to flood the offices of our reps to get it done and stop fooling around.

Liberate ourselves form theri oil supply
stop buying it immediatley
force ourselves ot come up with an alternative
bring manufacturing back to the usa from china

The only way is to come up with a viable alternative for oil. No end in sight.
