Although the film IS pretty damn bloody/gory, think something more along the lines of a turn-of-the-century cannibal story, crossed with the musical "Oklahoma", as filtered through the twisted and demented folks over at the Troma studios, in conjunction with the demented crew who created South Park.
The real-life story behind legendary American cannibal Alfred Packer, which the film is based upon, is much more scary...
If you are interested in picking up this little twisted ditty of a film, Troma Studios is about to release a special edition anniversary DVD; the date of release is still unknown, at this time.

Scariest (i dont have ten) The Hills Have Eyes (do no longer consume something whilst u watch this!!) The Grudge The Omen (OMG it truly is the SCARIEST action picture I easily have ever considered!) popular Redeye The Matrix (a million, 2, and 3) The Princess Bride whilst Harry Met Sally The Omen advise ladies Harry Potter (any of them) The Lord of the jewelry (any of them) theres too many!!!!

i mean if people say that something is scary it's not, it might have some freaky parts in it but it's not really scary.

It was freakin' hilarious.
With songs like "Shpadoinkle" and "Let's Build a Snowman" how could it not be?
