I don't know or care why, but I kinda tune them out. Not flattery, that I hear. But a real compliment touches my heart and I go numb. Great, right? No.

I find it difficult to accept compliments. I can take them from certain people. Only people I truly trust. When I get a compliment from a stranger I will analyze it, and wonder was it a secret jibe at me. Was there hidden innuendo in it?

Can I take a compliment? Yes, and it warms the cockles of me heart.
Always be humble, and remember to find something to compliment the 'complimenter' about. (is that a word?)
