It's made to connect to several computers,it said so on the box,but it only has one USB connection.Is there a USB adapter where you can connect 2 to 1 or something?

Assuming you have your computers networked together, here is a free way to do it....

Attach the printer by the USB cable to one of your printers.
Load the drivers.
During the load you will be ask if you want to share the printer. Tell it yes.
Once loaded, you will be able to go into My Network Places on any other computer and see that printer.
Click on it and it will install on the second computer.
After that, you will be able to print to the printer from the second computer also.

What it really does is network the file over to the first computer and the first computer prints it. But the person using the first computer does not see anything or have to do anything.

It does require that the first computer be turned on. It does not have to be logged into, or can be locked).

The easy way is to get a USB Print Server, they are about $60 and this way no PC needs to be tied up.
You were mis-sold, Eithernet is an optional extra to connect to multiple PC.
You can also install it on one PC, then share it, and the other PC will see it as a network printer
