GW Bush got into the Whitehouse with no formed agenda on foreign or domestic policy. A president cannot govern if he has no domestic and foreign policy to guide him in decision making. He would not be in office today if 9/11 did not happen. Since then, his foreign and domestic policy has been based on Iraq and the imagined war on terror. He has orchestrated 9/11 and used it to brainwash the Americans that without him, we would be doomed from terrorist attacks. The war he created in Iraq based on falsehoods helped galvanize support for him from the Americans and that's how he won a second term in office. He has now become an animal of habit. He would like to go to war with the whole world to perpetuate his stay in office since elections cannot be done during the time of war. His Mentor - D Cheney - is busy on the drawing board defining reasons for Bush to engage Iran in another futile war.

Postponement of the election won't happen. Even if we DID go to war with Iran, that would have no impact on whether or not the elections happened. Elections happened during WWII and Vietnam. They'd happen if we went to war with Iran. There is absolutely nothing Bush can do about it.
The part about going to war against Iran, though, is always a possibility! By the end of the year? Not likely. But it is possible.

This is a tactic used many times by sitting presidents. Bush did it himself in 2004. Historically most voters won't rock the boat by voting another president in office during war time. Bush is hoping to help the republicans in general by keeping American afraid to jump sides.

NO! That is not allowed under our constitution. Learn something good in school, not just how to be social. I do think however that we should let Isreal kick all those other countries asses so we don't have to. I think that Iran has more to worry about from Isreal than us. Isreal would love to annialate most of the arabian world. We are one of the few countires that can hold them back.

I believe the idiot would try such a thing. And if there isn't a war he will create one... he is very good at doing that.

Until Iran does the right thing by giving up the atomic threat, there is a good chance of war. We should invade and destroy.

This lib would support a war in Iran. They are an actual threat unlike Iraq post-Gulf War.
If they develop full nuclear capabilities they'll hold the entire world hostage anytime they deem necessary.
Nothing can extend a President's term. 4 years at a time, 8 years max. No exceptions. Ask FDR.

talk about paranoia
i have no doubt, unless things change, we will be forced into a confruntation in iraq, but thank god we have a leader who actually does something, as opposed to sit on his a$s getting his dick sucked all day.
