I took the first 1 hour test today, and became very dizzy and hot about a half hour after I drank the glucose and had to lay down right away as I felt like I was going to pass out. Is this normal or is it any indication that I could have the condition?

You probably have gestational diabetes. I had that with my 2nd child. You will have to take the 3 hour glucose test. It is almost the same but you have to drink more of the glucose and have your blood tested every hour for 3 hours. I just went through that last Friday. It is a very boring day, but necessary to tell if you have GD for sure. Good luck!!

I'm not sure about the hot feeling, but getting dizzy is an indication that you could have it. I hope you told the doctor or lab about it. If the first test comes back abnormal, then they will have you take a 3 hour test. If you do have gestational diabetes, it can be controlled through diet. It might take some adjustment, but you can do it. The good thing is that it almost always goes away after delivery. However, if you do get it, you are at higher risk for developing diabetes later in life.

I just went through the test 2 weeks ago, then I went back last week for the 3 hour test. My first test was really high which is why they had me come back, but my 3 hour test came back good. Everything is fine. Try not to worry, I felt really dizzy as well both different times I took the test, but all women react differently to the glucose, especially pregnant women! LOL. Just remember if they had you fast and then drink glucose water it would almost be enough to make anyone fel dizzy. That is a lot of sugar to put in your body all at once! Good luck!

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

It doesn't mean anything, different people react differently to the test. You won't know for sure if you have to take the 3hr test till your doctor tells you so. I have gestational diabetes and I handled both tests fine.

Oh god the first test made me sick as a dog and for days after I just felt icky.
It came back high, so I had to take the 3 hour. For some reason it wasn't as bad. Barely passed it.
But none the less, thats cruel and unusual punishment to make a pregnant woman fast!

I handled the one hour just fine, it was the next one that made me SO sick (this one has more glucose). That's when I knew I had it, and I was right.
Don't worry about it, it's not as bad of a condition as you might think. I've been dealing with it for 8 weeks and I'm happy.
