For some time, we will see it as it was before moving. this time = the distance of the star from Earth in light years. All the light which has to be emanated by the star is locked up on it, raising its temperature. Light would be able to move in the direction which is not same as that of the earth, but this light won't reach us.

Compare the siruation with a rifle and bullets and a target. The rifle shoots bullets continuosly. At a time, say, 10 bullets cover the distance between the rifle and its target.One bullet takes 1 sec to cover this distance. Then the rifle starts moving at bullets speed. The bullet shot just before the movement would be the last one to reach the target, in one sec time, which would also be the time the rifle takes. The bullets shot after the movement would stay at their place as the rifle is moving with them(like two boys running at same speed stay together)

The bottom line is that we won't be able to see the star's light and we cannot see it approaching.

The way I understand it is like this: everything that moves has kinetic energy, as the star approaches the speed of light all that kinetic energy gets converted to mass, thus if the speed of the star is approaching the speed of light than its mass will approach to infinity.

If a star has infinite mass, it needs infinite energy to move. Since the universe does not have infinite energy the star will not approach at the speed of light.

Remember E = mc^2, Energy and mass are the same thing in different forms!

Kinetic Energy = 1/2mv^2
m = mass
v = velocity

A star (or any other form of matter) could not travel this fast because as it approaches the speed of light, its mass becomes infinite so you'd need an infinite amount of energy to move it. Only massless particles like photons (light) can travel at the speed of light.

No. You only observe something when you are able to perceive information from that something. Since no information can travel to you about anything else faster than light, you wouldn't see it until it was right there with you. This is one of the few wrong things in sci-fi movies and TV shows. They all go around firing laser gun and/or phasers all over the place and the hero dodges the blasts. Well, he/she would not know the light beam weapon had been fired until the light beam hit him/her, so there wouldn't be time to dodge. Even Neo would be hit.

No, light speed can not be seen for it travels too fast to see it comming.

NO the light would be changed by the Doppler effect to the point that u could not see it.

we probably are approaching some stars ,i believe the milky way is moving at something like 175,000 mph
so again the vast distnces counter act the effect

No it's radiation would have an infinite frequency. If it were close we'd fry from the radiation.
