In the late 1960's an 80 year old virgin Nun was raped and assaulted! Nuns wore the full habits back then the only thing showing was her face and hands. They were old! She did not ask for this! This happened in or around the Miami Florida area where I was living at the time.

I agree, that is revolting. Regardless of how a woman dresses, do people actually believe that any female wants to be raped? If she wants sex she can meet someone and have it, but rape isn't about sex. Men who rape women do it because they want "power" or "control". When a woman is raped, it is never her fault. Its the disgusting rapist's fault.
Don't forget people, innocent children are sexually assaulted, molested, and raped all the time. Do you think those children are dressing "suggestively"? No, like I said before, rape isn't about sex at all. You should read up more on it.

Well, I would say that behaving that way is unwise. We all have heard enough times that guys are wired for sex. They see any little bit of skin they get turned on. So why is it too much to figure out that when you dress in a way that overly turns a man on, if he is lacking in self control, you're going to be in trouble. I think we are each responsible to a degree for how we affect other people.
Why are you dressing and acting that way, but to get a man's attention?? Why would you put out the bait if you're not willing to give what you are offering? It doesn't matter what you think you're saying, what matters is what they are hearing/ seeing. You have to be aware that your actions are affecting his. Yes, ultimately the man has the choice and is held responsible, but can we take a step back and realize that women hold some responsibility as well? I'm not saying that those are the only women who get raped, but they're the ones that don't surprise me, and I don't feel as sorry for them.
It's like when an older sister antagonizes her little sister until the younger lashes out and hits her, then the older goes and tattles. Who is responsible for that? they both are. We all make our own choices, and we take the consequences for them.

Baby,
It is absolutely sickening that anyone would even think that. Those people need to be taken out and hung in the public square. They are the scum of the earth! I believe that the laws should be tightened to keep these people from ever being allowed to breath and be around our children or women once they have been caught. Have a wonderful day!
Thanks,

I don't think they're completely responsible. People KNOW that rape/molestation/assault are just wrong, so the rapists, etc. know better (even if it's deep down subconsciously). However, the way SOME women dress these days (especially at clubs/bars) is almost asking for it. They're teasing--showing ample cleavage, short-short skirts, thong underwear etc. isn't classy--it's saying to men, "Hey, look at my body, and I DARE you to touch me!" I still don't think they're at fault, but they really SHOULD know better. I'm sure a rapist is more likely to rape someone provocatively dressed than someone who's wearing a pair of baggy jeans and a turtleneck sweater...

Your relative did some thing she became no longer think to do. She have been given under the impression of alcohol in the commonplace public. she would be happy for no longer being arrested for this. nicely, what the cab motive force did became incorrect of course, additionally. i'm completely with you. yet - foreigners being in remote places international places ought to understand the interior of sight regulations. i'm no longer protecting the cab motive force in any respect, yet whilst your relative would not have been under the impression of alcohol, the entire undertaking would not have happened. i'm quiet particular that the incident could have some effects and that i'm additionally particular that the Pakistani (?) cab motive force will could desire to pay the better fee. i'm happy to your relative that no longer something "extreme" happened and that i'm hoping she found out her lesson. are not getting under the impression of alcohol in the commonplace public. besides, beside this and to be honest, do no longer you think of that still an American, British and what ever national cab motive force might perhaps do an identical? happened formerly. the only suggestion i could desire to grant: in case you prefer to be dealt with as a woman, act like a woman and are not getting under the impression of alcohol in the commonplace public. edit chief Kutangeh: you do no longer understand something with reference to the police in the UAE. No Embassy can do something for this reason and of course no uk police (what an thought!). From my own adventure i will assert, that the cops I had to handle have been very respectfull to me each and every of the time. And who ever says that it takes 5 witnesses to checklist a rape, this is undeniable nonsense. 2 years in the past a British woman have been given raped and all 3 adult adult males are in prison. there have been no different witnesses in touch.

Yes it is revolting. In my opinion if you ruin or take someones life in a way such as murder, rape, etc. the government should be able to take yours.
It is not the womans or mans fault if she or he is raped, if she gets drunk it may be, it is ALWAYS the rapers fault. They have assaulted someone and should pay the consequences.

The door swings both ways. On one hand, yes men should not sexually assault women, but on the same hand women should not put themselves in a situation to be sexually assaulted. Like women in bars grinding on every guy in there; doing something like that is setting her up for sexual assault.
I tell my daughter this; If your not in the business then why advertise?
Edit: As for just "unprovoked" rape, like the nuns and children, I have no sympathy for those rapists. ZERO. Every one of them should be killed on the spot by law enforcement.
I do believe in "provoked" rape, which is when women put themselves in risky situations that might lead to rape. Prostitution is one of the main ones off the top of my head. Yes, prostitutes can be raped, but thats kind of a situation that leads to sex and they should not put themselves in the situation.

we need to start locking up rapists for life (just like their victims have to live with it for the rest of their lives)
