He will put big numbers with the Colts.
Addai topped the 1000 yard mark despite sharing carries with Dominic Rhodes so this will be a great year. They benefited from a good passing game that opened the rushing attack and this year won't be much different.

He'll get 1,000 yards this season because he'll get more carries. As a whole, though, I don't think the Colts running game will be as good as it was last year. The 2 back system works so much better than just having the one star back. Addai is good eneough to still get his yards and be effective, but there is no way to argue that the teams running game got better after losing Rhodes.

I guess since Addai is the starter in Indy, he'll pretty much have to be a key part wouldnt you say?? But he'll be a top 10 back and because of the passing game will rush for about 1200-1300 yds and 8-10 tds.

Hell yeah! He's the #1 back now and they'll use him like they used Edge when he was with the Colts. A lot of strech plays to the sidelines that hopefully get 4-5 yards a carry. Addai proved in the playoffs that he's good enough to be an everydown back. With a year's experience under his belt, he should be even better this year.

frenchy62 echoes my sentiments. Addai isn't the excellent RB interior the league, yet he's the excellent RB the Colts have. i do no longer see Keith dashing for almost a hundred and fifty yards each and each interest(no longer that Addai did that the two), yet Addai is the magnificent that Indy has, in spite of if Keith sounds like an somewhat stable #2 back.

Addai will lead the league in rushing, or at least be in the top 5, plus the Colts picked Gonzales as their #3 receiver, no defense is going to be able to stop this offense. Go Colts!!

I've got Addai projected as the #7 fantasy RB this year by assuming he got most of the carries and using his YPC average. I counted receptions too. Unfortunately, Indy, as the SB winner, plays a lot of top teams this year. the competition will be harder and Indy has a lost a lot on defense. Look for them to have to throw the ball a lot this year to try to win on offense because they won't stop anyone on defense. That will cut into Addai's overall production.

1200 yards for Joseph Addai pretty easy if he stays healthy
That passing game just opens up the running game so nicely
I can see him even making the Pro Bowl if he gets touches around the goalline

Joseph will run for 1300+ yards and have 5+ TD's.
they will run him more for one reason: to open up the pass for Manning
the line will do what it always does and destroy the defensive line and protect the QB like they do year in and year out.
Thier line is so good it made Rhodes(who is pretty good) look like a star running back.

I think he will be a very effective player for the colts because when teams prepare to play them they try to stop the pass thus giving the running game the necessary holes to run through.
