Could be laying head down on side-- that's how my son was for like the last 3 weeks. If one side of your stomach feels flat and the other side round, that's probably the way she's laying.

You're 37 weeks along. The baby turned around and is ready to be born, but she can still shift around a bit.
It's pretty tight in there for her though, so she's probably finding movement to be more difficult than before. She only has enough room to move that one little leg (or both her legs are kicking at the same spot). Your doctor will tell you tomorrow, but I wouldn't worry about a thing.
Good luck with baby!

Like you said your child has very limited space in there at this point. If you are still feeling the baby move everything is fine! Congrats. I am 17 weeks and just starting to feel the flutters, I want to feel the full on "kicks". That was my fave part of being prego last time!!

I was the same....my baby only kicked on one side...she probably isnt turning but she can still move some...but its nothing to worry about...i always felt movement on normally just one side towards the end. With the arms and legs just flailing around it can feel like maybe she has turned but most likely she is still head down! Good luck!

I'm 37 weeks too and feel the baby mostly on my right side. I don't think they're really feet that I'm feeling though. Just lots of movement all over. Pretty soon they'll be here!!! Good luck!!

at 37 wks your baby is no longer turning around it has no room, your baby is now in the postion it will be in untill you deliver. this kicking is something you should enjoy not worrying about. your baby is fully developed, has 2 arms and two legs, youll feel movement on a daily and if it's just your left side hey maybe it'll be left handed.....

My daughter had her foot stuck under my left rib for weeks before labour. She had also dropped weeks before too. I also was convinced she was on her side but she wasn't. They can move about right up until they are ready to come out, it might take them some time but they still move from side to side sometimes. The head can be down but bubs can be slightly curved to one side too. She is probably still head down :)

No shes probably not sideways. Shes prob head down and shes running out of space and her feet are positioned under your right ribs. My daughters feet were under my left rib and I swear I think she had her hand in my lungs cause she would knock the wind out of me. I felt tons of kicking in my ribs and it hurts and my daughter was head down the whole time.

If your little one is head down vertex facing right, that may be why. Are you feeling her little rump in the center of your tummy? Its very likely just her position. It's unlikely she's switched back to breech (but of course not impossible) but she's probably just found a position she's comfy in and when she goes to stretch her little legs they are kicking your right ribs.
congrats on your new little one.

the baby can turn until you give birth...although, it is unlikely...mine changed position three times in the last three weeks...if you are concerned, get checked by your midwife or o.b....they can recommend positions that will enable the baby to become head down again if she is not still....also, a baby can be head down, and unless "engaged" can still turn itself around...facing a different direction...that is okay....your baby will do what she needs to
