Yes, they do because I don't talk very often so when I do they want to hear what I have to say or their just in shock that I'm talking. Well, thats a work. At home my fiance only listens to me half the time because I talk so much :)

My husband will listen unless hes playing video games. But hes learned to pick out key words so when I say "What did I just say?" he can answer back and make it sound like he was listening.

Sometimes I feel as if I would have a better conversation with myself or the wall. With some people words go in one ear and right out the other ear. Sometimes I just shake my head and say to myself it is what it is. It's there lives not mines.

Half/half I tend to babble sometimes when I drink too much or when I am overly happy. Other times people listen a little to closely and catch my underlying sarcasm they were suppose to miss. It never works out to my benefit though.
