Socialism is natural and the only system that will work .
Whats not right in society is for people to excessively profit from society without it being taxed to provide infrastructure and support for that society .
We have created a system which rewards the individual rather then the group .
The group is who builds the car not the concept engineer or board of directors .
So should the board take home paychecks in the millions while the workers make $50,000.00
Lets share the pie in a better manner then we have in the past and in this nation of so much it is impossible to beleive that almost 100,000 people live on the park benches and alleys of greater Los Angeles . If the minimum wage anyone was paid allowed them to rent a studio apartment have a car phone and cable tv and food and pay for electric and water service maybe we would not have a problem .
But this is not possible when we judge others to be of less value for any number of reasons and take advantage of them for profit .

Socialism is totally un-natural, and that IS the reason it will not work.

Because it takes away every bit of incentive for those with brains. Why bother bettering yourself, when we're all 'equal'?

You have spoken out against Christianity on many occasions and are probably well versed about a known atheist and author named Ayn Rand. I've been an avid reader of hers over the years and although she's an atheist, her words are true.

Socialism robs the mind!

If socialism is so great why hasn'r Marx's theory that capitalism would collapse and transition to socialism not taken place yet.

Capitalism, may not be perfect an is fraught with contradiction, but it works far better than any other economic system.

I also find it ironic that Marx (whonever really held a real job) would bash capitalism, considering his partner Engles was a capitalist, but that's just me.

that's not. people hear socialism and that they think of of the Soviet Union which grew to become right into a despotic regime. despite the fact that the Soviet Union under Stalin, and arguably under Lenin as nicely, weren't socialist. yet the two the Stalinists interior the U.S., and the capitalists interior the west the two agreed that the Soviets have been socialist, albeit for various reasons. The Soviets touted themselves as socialists to win customary help, and the western capitalists touted the Soviets as socialists to make socialism look undesirable.

Socialism is just one form of cooperation - which is what you're talking about when you mention buildings. The vast majority of the buildings you see when you look at, say, the SF skyline, of course, are built by people who are professionals, paid to build buildings. It's what they do, and they're good at it.

The individual is supreme. Once you realize this, you'll understand why socialism gets such a bad name.

The individual is supreme?

Not in the corporate world. And we live in a corporate state.

I think the fascism of corporatism is far more dangerous to the world than socialism.

But these days we worship only money, and we accept as our rulers the people that have the most....so this message is lost.
