Wireless PCI or Wireless PCMCIA Adapter ( for Laptops). You will also need a Wireless Hotspot if you do not already have a Wireless Router and a DSL / Cable Modem connection within your premises.

1. Assume you want to connect to a wireless network, you must have a PC or laptop that has a wireless network adaptor (NIC). Run the connection program and choose the network you want to connect. (you may need to know the key (WEP e.g.) before you can connect to a secured network.

2. If you want to setup your own network, you have to buy wireless router or setup wireless access point, which will be complicated than you think. Please do a search in web or ask your friend that can guide you in more details.

It depends on what you are using it on.

you would definetly need a wireless router.

you will also need an ethernet cable, maybe a memory stick maybe handy if you want to install wireless on more than 1 pc/laptop, an internet connection. i think that should do for what you need.
