People only ever do what works for them.
Some things never change.

A LOST CROWN TO BE HAD

Supply and demand govern the cost of cash,
I saw on the curbside a sexy Lass,
I saw there beside her a lost crown to be had,
Which one I went home with is your guess lad.

there are always recaps of the past but there are alot of differnt changes that went on during the style changes like this is the first time that BIG things have been in style so I say we are creative enough

There are a few reasons for this. The most important is, "there are few original ideas left." Also, the problem is clothing is designed, usually in mind of consumer demand. What a group of people decide is fashionable. Keep in mind, history often repeats itself, and practicality is key.

I can remember telling my little sister that I would not be caught dead in a pair of hip-hugging, bell bottom jeans. Gees, our mom wore them in high school. Now it is all the fashion and I have a pair(or 2). I never realized how sexy they could make a gal feel. I get an added bonus of showing off my lower back tattoo. It feels weird now to wear a pair of regular jeans. Hey, if it feels and looks good, it doesn`t matter when it is "in".

Ha ha! I'm actually a designer and I've done the whole fashion classes followed trends etc. But history does repeat it self over and over but when it is repeated its always recreated and reinvented to be better. It repeats it self every 10 years.

Very good question. I think today's fashion industry doesn't have the eye or imagination the 80's once had. But in their defense whose to say "oh this looks like year 2007 clothing.."? Unless you have caught yourself saying.."that's so last year!"..then I guess, I know more or less the point your trying to get across.

It is because fashion has always been a repeat of some era before as far as time goes back.

Hi! Lol ;] No actually, I think it's because they have run out of ideas - everything has already been 'taken', and anything they come up with doesn't seem to please the public anymore, so lots of past styles keep reappearing. Hope I helped xx
