I would like to hear from "Pro Choice" people especially. I will disclose I believe life begins at conception, but am curious as to when you feel life begins? Conception, birth?

When it can live outside of the womb. A few cells at 6 weeks is not viable outside the womb.

Life must begin at conception. If a baby is alive, its stages of development have to be alive too. A long time ago, people used to believe that maggots came from rotting meat and believing that a living baby comes from a nonliving fertilized egg is kind of a variation of that. It's called spontaneous generation, belief that living things arise from nonliving matter, which was proven wrong centuries ago by some brilliant scientist named Francisco Redi. He proved that life doesn't come from inanimate objects. Life comes from life. Therefore, a living baby must come from a living fertilized egg. As for the issue of whether or not a preborn baby is separate from the mother, it's definitely separate from the mother because it does something that parts of a woman's body do not do. It grows and develops into a separate human being, a potential that a woman's tonsils, kidneys, or other organs don't have. All other parts of a woman's body don't grow into anything other than themselves. But, a fertilized egg grows into something completely different.

Why is it that God having a plan for your life ruffles your feathers? God is good. He is not forcing you to take drugs. He is not ruining your life. He is not making you steal money. He wants you to be happy, and when you make a mistake He has made provision for you to get through it. If you skinned your knee and your mom had a bandaid handy would you hate her too because she knew that some day you would hurt yourself and you would need a bandaid. This way you think is not productive but shows that your thinking is very immature. I pray that this world comes back to the thinking that bad things are bad not good, and the good things are good not bad. Grow up a little and let the world not teach you how to know God. Come to God and ask Him to teach you about Him. He is loving, He is kind, He is merciful, and He loves you. How come you cannot love Him? Being Gay the people live a lifestyle that is going to cause them to die a horrible death. Don't you even care past the problem they have with not being able to marry? You do not even really care about them. God loves the sinner but hates the sin. The law of the land that the policemen and judges and lawyers defend loves that people can walk down the street and not be mugged, but if we thought like you, you would want the bad guys on the street and the good people in jail, because it is not fair to keep the muggers locked up.

Life has a specific Biology explanation.
1. Cellular structure and function

2. Reproduction

3. Metabolism

4. Homeostasis

5. Heredity

6. Evolution

7. Interdependence
However it will have all of this at a SPECIFIC time in the life of the organism. You can't call all old people not alive simply because they can't reproduce.

I believe that life occurs as the time of conception, however, I do NOT want to impose my beliefs onto others as it is a woman's right to choose and she should have that choice. I think of rape victims, incest victims or women who really shouldn't be having children (I know adoption will come up and I feel that is relevant as well). I also believe a person has a right to choose when they want to die. I do not agree with the death penalty but I don't get in the way of families who want the murderer to 'fry'.

Feasibly, despite all the techonology , life for a baby begins when it can viably live on its own if born prematurely, so anywhere from 16 weeks onward. Generally it's when a women feels movement in her womb which is around the end of the first trimester 12 weeks or so , however a baby that small is unlikely to survive a premature birth.

I could never support a candidate that supported this...not even if it were in my own party.

Life begins at 30 years old. If we choose to not want a person younger than that, we should be able to abort their life. That way we make sure only the people we want get to make it past that age.

Life as a separate entity with the ability to survive outside of the womb becomes a stastistically greater probability in the third trimester of pregnancy.
That's why abortion is usually restricted to the first six months, and then only performed in unusual or dangerous pregnancies in the final trimester.

When your heart begins to beat. I am pro-choice for only one reason: if we made abortion illegal, women would find more drastic, more dangerous ways to kill their unborn children.

Life begins at conception. Modern technology has shown us what has long been proven by the world's leading geneticists. I would like to see those who are so gung-ho on science (hello global warming extremists) try and dispute this.
